1/2 C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
2/3 C light corn syrup
4 tsp pure peppermint extract
6 C powdered sugar
Red and Green gel food coloring

How To Make Christmas Peppermint Patties
Combine the peppermint extract, butter and corn syrup in a large mixing bowl.
Add in 4 cups of powdered sugar and stir until well combined.
Continue to add in the remaining powdered sugar until the dough is completely smooth and it’s all absorbed.
Divide the dough into portions.
Add red food coloring into one portion of dough, green to the second and leave the third white.
Scoop each of the dough colors into as many 2 tablespoon-size balls as you can make.
Place sugar in a bowl or on a plate.
Roll each of the balls into the sugar.
Place each dough ball onto a cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart and flatten with a fork.
Allow the peppermint cookies to air dry for 24 hours before enjoying.
